Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and NaijaLifeGame ("we", "us") for using naijalifegame.com and the game (together, "the game"). By creating an account or playing, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.

1. Who can play

You must be 18 or older. The game lets you chat with other people and buy things with real money, so it is for adults only. By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 18. We may close an account if we believe the person using it is under 18.

2. Your account

You are responsible for what happens on your account and for keeping your password to yourself. One person may not run many accounts to gain an unfair advantage. Add an email address so you can recover your account; without one, we may not be able to help if you forget your password.

3. Game money and purchases

The naira you see inside the game is play money. It has no value outside the game. It cannot be withdrawn, cashed out, sold, or exchanged for real money, goods or services, by us or by anyone else.

You can buy game money ("top-up") with real money through our payment partner, Paystack. A top-up is delivered to your account as soon as the payment is confirmed. Because it is delivered at once, top-ups are final and not refundable, except where the law requires a refund or where you paid and did not receive what you bought. If that happens, email us within 14 days with your username and payment reference and we will put it right.

We can change prices, rewards, items and the rules of the game at any time. Game money and items can be lost through play, and we do not restore them.

4. How to behave

The city is shared with real people. You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, insult or bully anyone;
• post sexual content, hate speech, or anything illegal;
• scam, beg for or demand real money, or ask anyone for passwords or bank details;
• pretend to be someone else, including our team;
• spam or advertise outside the paid billboards;
• cheat, use bots or scripts, exploit bugs, or interfere with the game or its servers;
• buy or sell accounts, game money or items for real money.

You can block any player and report any message. We review reports and may remove messages, silence, suspend or permanently close accounts that break these rules, without refund.

5. Chat and messages

City chat is public: everyone can read it. Private messages are between you and the other player, but our team can read reported conversations and may review messages to keep the game safe. Do not share anything in chat that you would not want others to see. You are responsible for what you write.

6. Advertising

Businesses can book billboards in the game. Adverts are checked before they go live and may be refused or taken down. An advert that is paid for and not approved is refunded. Links on billboards lead to other websites that we do not control and are not responsible for.

7. Our content

The game, its name, design, code, artwork and text belong to NaijaLifeGame. You may play it for your own enjoyment. You may not copy, resell or build on it without our written permission.

8. No guarantees

The game is provided as it is. We work to keep it running, but it may be interrupted, changed or stopped, and progress may occasionally be lost. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

9. Ending your account

You can stop playing at any time and ask us to delete your account by email. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

10. Changes and the law

We may update these terms. If the change is important, we will tell you in the game. Carrying on playing means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
