๐Ÿ™๏ธ The city

One shared city

Everybody plays in the same Lagos-style city in 3D, with the Mainland and the Island joined by bridges over the lagoon. The people walking past you are other real players.

Why it is nice: It feels alive, because it is. There is always someone to greet.

40 places to enter

Markets, a buka, a bank, a mall, a gym, a salon, a studio, a club, a beach, offices, kiosks and more. Walk up to a door and tap the green button to go in.

Why it is nice: Every building does something, so there is always somewhere new to go.

Residents and hawkers

The roads are busy with residents and hawkers selling suya, boli, akara, zobo and more. You can greet them, buy from them and become their padi.

Why it is nice: The street feels like a real Nigerian street, even at quiet hours.

Day and night on your own clock

The city follows the time where you live. Morning is morning, night is night, the club opens in your evening and owambe is your weekend.

Why it is nice: Wherever in the world you are, the game fits your day.

Rain

Rain falls on the whole city at the same time, with a warning first. Get indoors, enter a car or open your umbrella, or pay to dry your clothes.

Why it is nice: Everybody running for cover together is a proper Lagos moment.

Traffic on the roads

Cars and buses move on the roads. Cross carelessly and a car that hits you costs you money.

Why it is nice: It keeps you alert, and it is funny when it happens to somebody else.

Map and danfo

The Map lists every place in the city. Walk there, or take a danfo straight to the door for โ‚ฆ300.

Why it is nice: You never get lost, and you never have to walk far if you do not want to.

Okada, keke, cars, jeep and super car

Buy your own okada, keke, power bike, saloon car, sports car, big man jeep or super car at the dealer. Each one moves you through the city faster than the last.

Why it is nice: The day you buy your first okada, the whole city becomes smaller.

Pay to drive

Vehicles are parked by the road for anyone to drive for a short time at a small price.

Why it is nice: You can enjoy a ride long before you can afford to buy one.

City headlines

Short, funny headlines about life in the city appear as you play.

Why it is nice: They sound exactly like home, and they will make you laugh.

๐Ÿง๐Ÿพ Your character and home

Create your character

Choose how your character looks, then pick traits like Sharp Guy, Chop Life or Soft Life that change how they live and earn.

Why it is nice: No two characters are the same, and yours plays the way you like.

A life dream

Pick a dream for your character, such as becoming an Odogwu, a Big Boss or a Naija Superstar. Reaching it pays โ‚ฆ250,000 in game money.

Why it is nice: It gives you a big goal to work toward from the first day.

Six needs to look after

Your character gets hungry, tired, bored, lonely, dirty and pressed. Eat, sleep, enjoy, gist, baff and ease yourself to stay happy.

Why it is nice: A happy character earns more, so looking after yourself is part of the hustle.

Six skills to grow

Hustle, Cooking, Fitness, Charisma, Music and Tech grow as you work, cook, train at the gym, record at the studio or take coding classes.

Why it is nice: Better skills open better jobs and better pay.

Homes from Ajegunle to Lekki

Start in one room and pay rent once a day. When you can afford it, the agent moves you somewhere better, up to a mini-flat in Lekki.

Why it is nice: Moving up from face-me-I-face-you to the Island feels earned.

Furnish your room

Buy a mattress, fridge, TV, gen, sofa, speaker, wall art and more. Each item shows up in your room and makes home life better.

Why it is nice: Your room becomes yours, and visitors can see how far you have come.

Clothes and the closet

Buy native attire, gowns, office wear, ankara, adire, aso-oke, gele, fila, shades, gold chains and watches at the boutique. What you buy, you wear.

Why it is nice: You can dress for the owambe, the office or the street, and everybody sees it.

A housemate

Bring a housemate into your room and choose how they look. As your bond grows they gist with you, cook for you and later pay half the rent.

Why it is nice: Home is warmer with somebody in it, and it saves you money.

Nigerian food everywhere

Amala and ewedu, jollof with chicken and dodo, suya, boli, akara, moi-moi, zobo, chin-chin and a seafood platter on the Island. Or cook indomie and egg at home.

Why it is nice: It is the food you actually crave, not burgers and fries.

Gym, salon and cinema

Lift at Iron Body Gym, get a fresh cut or hair do at the salon, watch a Nollywood film at the mall or just window shop.

Why it is nice: There is always a small way to treat yourself.

Auto mode

Turn on Auto and your character walks to tasks by itself. It never spends your money.

Why it is nice: You can keep making progress while you rest your hands.

๐Ÿ’ผ Work and money

Side hustles

Carry load at the market, sell okrika clothes or work a shift as a danfo conductor. You are paid the moment the job is done.

Why it is nice: Anybody can earn from the first minute, with no experience needed.

4 careers to climb

Take a job in Tech, Corporate, Trading or Entertainment and work shifts to be promoted, from Intern to CTO or from Backup Singer to Superstar.

Why it is nice: Promotion comes from skill and consistency, just like a real career.

Errands for residents

A resident asks you to carry something across the city before the time runs out. The further you go, the more you are paid.

Why it is nice: Quick money that also teaches you your way around.

Bank and daily interest

Save at Naija Trust Bank and your savings earn interest every day. Money in the bank is safe from rent surprises and from thieves.

Why it is nice: It rewards the habit of saving before spending.

Loans

Borrow from the bank at fair interest, or from Oga Shark who gives more, faster, at a heavy price. Pay late and the debt grows, and they come to collect.

Why it is nice: A loan can change your game, and it shows clearly what bad debt costs.

The player Market

Sell house items and vehicles you no longer need to other players, and pick up bargains below shop price.

Why it is nice: Real buyers and real sellers, so prices move like a real market.

Hire out your vehicle

Put your okada, keke or car to work. List it for rent in the Market, or park it by the road as Kabu-kabu and earn each time someone drives it.

Why it is nice: Your vehicle pays you back while you do other things.

Send money to a friend

Send game money to another player straight from the People list.

Why it is nice: You can help a friend who is broke, or dash someone who made your day.

Pay for being out and about

You earn a little for the time you spend actually moving around the city, up to a daily limit.

Why it is nice: Even a stroll is never wasted.

Top up when you like

The game is free. If you want to move faster, you can buy game money with a card or bank transfer, from โ‚ฆ500.

Why it is nice: Paying is a choice, never a wall. Everything can be earned by playing.

How game money works โ†’

๐Ÿ’ฌ People, chat and calls

City chat

One chat for everybody in the city. Like messages, reply to them and tag people by name.

Why it is nice: It is the city square. Gist, banter and announcements all happen here.

Chat rooms

Besides city chat there are rooms for different crowds, some open only to players who have reached a certain level.

Why it is nice: You can find a quieter corner with people at your level.

Private messages and photos

Message any player privately. Friends who have added each other write for free and can send photos.

Why it is nice: A conversation that started in the street can continue one on one.

Real voice calls

Buy a smartphone in the game and call another player who has one. You really hear each other. You choose who is allowed to call you.

Why it is nice: Hearing a voice turns a username into a friend.

Greet, gist and become padi

Tap a person in the street to greet or gist with them. Friendship grows each time until you are padi, and you can mark the players you like as friends.

Why it is nice: Friendships are built the normal way: by showing up and talking.

Visit a friend at home

Go into a friend's home and see how they have set it up.

Why it is nice: It is the fastest way to know who is really balling.

Public profile page

Every player has a page to share outside the game, showing their job title and place on the Respect list. Inside the game you can add a bio and a photo.

Why it is nice: You can show off your progress and invite people with one link.

Big players are hailed

When a high-level player, a candidate or the President opens the chat, the whole chat is told.

Why it is nice: Status means something when everybody sees you arrive.

Why it is nice: Politics the way it is joked about at home, with consequences attached.

Coups

A player can plot against a sitting President. Other players take sides, and if enough back the plot, the seat changes hands. A failed plotter goes to prison.
