How to play
📱 On a phone
Put your left thumb anywhere on the left half of the screen and drag. A joystick appears. Push it the way you want to go, further to go faster. Lift your thumb to stop.
Drag on the right half of the screen to turn the camera. "Forward" on the joystick is always the way the camera faces.
Tap a person to talk to them. Tap a billboard to open the advert. Tap the green button that appears at a door to go in.
Map, People, Chat, Phone, Market and Me. Everything else in the game opens from these.
It plays best as an app on your home screen: full screen, with no browser bars. See how to add it to your phone.
💻 On a computer
W A S D or the arrow keys.
Hold the mouse button and drag to turn the camera. Scroll the wheel to zoom in and out.
Click a person to talk, a billboard to open it, and the green button at a door to go in.
Rest the mouse on any button to see what it does.

The basics
- Follow the yellow arrow. The yellow pill at the top is your next task. It shows the distance and points the way, and every task pays you.
- Use the green button. Walk up to any door, kiosk or hawker and a green button appears. Tap it to go in, buy, eat or work.
- Keep your needs up. The six bars are hunger, energy, enjoyment, gist, freshness and toilet. Go home to sleep, baff and cook. A happy Sim earns more.
- Make money. Carry load at the market, run errands for residents, or take a job and work shifts until you are promoted. Save at the bank and it earns interest every day.
- Pay your rent. Rent comes out of your cash once a day. When you can afford it, the agent on the Island moves you somewhere better.
- Mind the road. A car that hits you costs you money. Look before you cross.
- Meet people. Open People to chat privately, send gifts, add friends and visit their homes. City chat is for everybody.
- Buy and sell. Furnish your room from the home shop or the mall. Sell what you no longer need in the Market, and pick up bargains from other players.
- Grow. Register a business, buy land and build on it, travel to other cities, and run for governor.
- Take it easy. Turn on 🤖 Auto and your Sim walks to tasks by itself. It never spends your money.
👑 Top players
The most respected people in the city. Respect comes from spending: on what you own, on parties and spraying, on campaigns. Whoever earns the most Respect in a month wins ₦500,000 on the 1st of the next.
